If I could have any of my bedrooms from my life, of all the times I’ve decorated and redecorated and moved and removed, it would be my 4th grade bedroom. Half Hanson, half Spice Girls, 100% perfect. Lava lamps, bean bags, Nintendo.

The first interview I ever did was with Hellogoodbye. It was in like 2005 and they were playing really, really small venues* and (I am 99%) sure it was their first real tour. I think during that long interview, I got one of the best answers to any question I’ve ever asked anyone.

So many people take the stance that fashion is superfluous and brainless and somehow that’s a valid opinion? I’m going to start bemoaning the music industry and belittling the people that create beautiful songs and albums because of my own elitism and lack of understanding. If the creativity and craftsmanship involved in fashion ≠ art, then music ≠ art and fuck all.
